Blueprint Notes
Few aircraft evoke emotion like the Spitfire. With its elliptical wings and agile form, it became an icon of British resilience during World War II. This card honours the Spitfire not only as a machine of war, but as a symbol of courage, craft, and elegance.

Personal Bond
The Spitfire holds a special place in my story. I learned to fly in the UK at Biggin Hill, an airfield with a strong Royal Air Force history and home to many of the Spitfires that defended Britain. On rare days, I’d catch sight of one, on the runway or overhead. A very special moment.

Blueprint Notes
The Catalina is more than a seaplane, it’s a story suspended between air, sea, and time. Known for its long-range capability and ocean landings, it played a vital role in reconnaissance and rescue missions during World War II. This card honours one such story, of a Catalina wreck, resting on the coast of NEOM, Saudi Arabia.

Personal Bond
While working in Saudi Arabia, I discovered a wrecked Catalina on the shores of NEOM. That aircraft wasn’t just metal. It was a living story, waiting to be retold.I created a digital experience in the NEOM tourism app to share its history with visitors. This card is a tribute to this aircraft.
